I haven't seen this issue personally, but try this: Go to Settings -> Applications -> Application Manager -> More -> Show System Apps. Find "Themes" on the list, select it, select Storage, and Clear Cache.* Go back, and select "Theme Store" -> Storage -> Clear Data. Press OK on the pop-up.*...

Look up these themes, they don't have the tray: Balance, Sharp, Lime, Blue Onyx, Red Onyx.

You can swap back to default by going to Settings - Themes. Choose Default -> Apply. Once it's applied, you can delete the other theme that you were using previously.

There's a setting in Accessibility that causes this error. You will need to go to Settings - Accessibility - Vision - Show button shapes. Disable that setting, Show Button Shapes, and you should be all set.
