Google messenger let's you send them but they come up super tiny. Hand cent SMS let's u send them and it shows up the size of an average video.

Sending long 1080p @ 60Fps through iMessage. Also gaming is much better on the iPhone 6s plus compared to the note 7.

I downloaded Handcent next SMS, I went into advanced settings and changed send MMS message limit to 5M. When I did this I sent 3 test GIFS to my iPhone and they played correctly.

I have both. I honestly like my iPhone better. I think Android and Touch Wiz are the Notes biggest downfall. I mean I like the phone, but lots of the advertised features don't work as advertised. My iPhone runs smoother with half the specs. Not knocking the note but I prefer the iPhone.

I sent it to myself and it plays fine. I'm using the standard messaging app though I've been Looking for a better one. I've used Google messenger, Handcent, and Hangouts. I'm leaning more towards Hangouts.

The only way I can get it to animate is by sending it to myself as an email, save it from the email, then if I send it as a text message it will animate.

I'm having a problem with Animated Gifs. When I create a GIF and then send it, it doesn't animate. It comes up as a thumbnail. Anyone else having this problem?

I can't Remember exactly where on the site it is, but I know it was certain iPhone users I couldn't get messages from until I deactivated both. Thankfully I'm putting my Note 7 on my second line and keeping my iPhone. That was a real pain to go through not getting my messages.

For those switching from an iPhone make sure you turn off find my iPhone, deactivate FaceTime, and iMessage from the iCloud.com website and on the phone. I did it once only on the phone and I couldn't receive messages from people with iPhones.
