Yes it worked perfectly on my stock HTCd-626. Prepare for the 3 button press once you select recovery. The HTC logo appears for 2s then blank. Press all 3 together and release. Repeat. I got it on the 3rd go.

This method posted by bikercr worked perfectly on my HTCd-626. Be prepared for the 3 button press after selecting recovery. Almost immediately there is the HTC logo with white background then blank. Press all 3 together and release. Then repeat. I got it on the 2nd repeat. Wiped the cache.
