    My axon 7 review

I hear ya. I don't use a ton of data, so Cricket with this phone is perfect for me. 4gb for 35 a month hits my sweet spot. But yeah, the A7 is a sweet phone. No complaints here.

    Axon 8?

I just bought the 7, so I won't be getting the 8 no matter how good it is. Maybe the 9, since I like to skip a gen. But I will be interested to see what the 8 will bring.

Anyone else jumping to the new S8 / S8+ ?

Same here. I'm pretty happy with my axon 7. A phone isn't worth $500 dollars more to me. I got the A7 for $329 and 0% interest for 15 months. Good price, good terms.

    Moving on from the Nexus 6. Pre-ordered a Galaxy S8+. Don't hate.

I hear ya. If the S8 could run stock android, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I absolutely love the screen on it. But at this point, I'm probably going to wait and see what the OnePlus 4/5 brings. It's going to run like greased lightning on steroids. The SD835 with 6gb of RAM running an optimized OS...

    Who can repair my N6??

And if you are a ROM using kind of person, you could easily get another 2 years out of your N6 since the devs will make the latest android available for it for quite some time. And if you're not a custom rom kind of person, it won't hurt to learn how, since it will extend the life of your device...

How do I get the new Gboard to capitalise 'i'

Is auto correction turned on in the Gboard settings? Mine turns "i" into "I".

    Who can repair my N6??

Repairs might be expensive. If you really want to stay with the N6, you might consider getting a new one. They are selling on ebay for $200.

    Adaptive Brightness too low?

AB on every phone I've owned has been too dim. I never use it.

    Changing To 3T

I don't own the phone, (I plan to buy one later this year) but after thoroughly studying the phone since its release, I would get it in a heartbeat if I had the money. It's the fastest android phone money can buy. It gets great battery life and has 6gb of RAM. Except for the screen, (screen is...

    Back to S7

That's why they make custom roms. ;) It will keep the pixel relevant for a long time. There are even happy Galaxy Nexus (pre-nexus 4) users still, running the latest android. The pixel will easily be running android 10 and beyond thanks to the hard work of the people in the modding/development...

New phone on its way, but, is it worth it?

The Pixel is a dog!!!!! It's 3rd place right now in speed tests!!!!!!!!! Erm ma gerd! My Nexus 6 is still fast with a custom rom, I can only imagine how fast the Pixel is. Anyone who nitpicks about benchmarks is a fool. The Pixel is one of the best out there, but slightly overpriced......

New phone on its way, but, is it worth it?

And how many problem threads are there compared to the many 1000's of happy Pixel users? Every phone has a certain % of problems. The manufacturing process is not perfect, nor will ever be.

This phones ahead of its time!!!

I rarely take pics so it's a moot point to me. I like to live life, not sitting on the sidelines always taking pics. And since everyone these days takes 1000's of pics, I think people are getting burned out always looking at them. Some people take pics of every waking moment, which makes no...

This phones ahead of its time!!!

I use a custom rom, so I'll get android O next year plus security updates. I'm set for a long time.

This phones ahead of its time!!!

For that matter, the OG Nexus 6 is still a good phone too. Very fast and has a great big screen. I have no urge to "upgrade" to anything else anytime soon. I would get a 6P if I was coming from a Nexus 5, but from a 6 it's not worth it to me. A pixel isn't even worth it to me. Let's be honest...
