Thanks everyone, The VF-5 software is great if I am doing anything "studio" related, impressive list of features like ISO speeds and aperture/shutter priority. The smaller footprint of Camera MX looks promising as a replacement for the stock camera app.

Mumfoau, Since you are answering questions...what did you not like about the Supcase unicorn? Only one I've ever used on the 6P and I am loving it.

Just wanted to add that I too do not have that visible above the progress bar. There are no updates in the play store, the version of Google Photos is 1.11.0.110496109.

The stock app (and camera of course) take point-and-click pictures just fine, but there's a serious lack of options and abilities that are just not there with the stock software. Small items like red-eye removal, or settings for a backlit subject matter, or black-and-white/sepia etc. Rather...

As another person coming to the 6P from a galaxy Note (2 & 4) I can say that this is HUGE, I've tried swiftkey and several others, none of them are as good as the Samsung keyboard. It is not just the numbers (which was my initial complaint) I can get those back by using google keyboard in PC...

Been carrying mine naked (the phone not me) for 3 days now, I am getting very nervous about it since it is so thin and sooo smooth. My case will be her today and I can breathe again. Those of you who do this normally...I'm not sure which is bigger your nads or your wallet.
