    SAMSUNG Note 5 - Toggle USB MPT with keypress

    I have a NOTE 5 with a damaged display. In order to get to USB access to my PC, I need to get the USB to be allowed to change to MPT mode. I followed some directions that seemed to place it in download MODE but, that is not the ticket. Any help? Eddie

    I am throwing my hands up. Dr. Fone doing a flash of some sort, and blank folders, life sucks right now. I can actually see the device from my NOTE 5 and can copy files to and from it. However, KIES or any 3rd party app will not acknowledge the NOTE 5.

    Thanks for that info. Both come as device apps but, appear to be required to be installed on the device from which you trying to recover. Thank You very much though

    I may have gone beyond what I should have performed. I attempted using a 3rd party app. Dr Fone!! It gave instructions to place into DOWNLOAD mode. It has wiped the PHONE now. NOW, I am trying to find some sort of PHOTO recovery app. This one has been a bugger to say the least
