Using one cable to charge also reduces the chance of the USB-C port getting deformed to a the point of creating a loose connection. My two previous mobile phones (OP 8T and S23+) both got finicky about charging with certain cables (after a year or so of use).

Google needs to ditch the Exynos radios. They are really subpar in terms of signal quality, performance and power usage compared to Qualcomm offerings. S23U's radio had Pixel's beat... 24U and 25U are even further ahead. Apple was behind too though I think they've finally made some headway...

Nova Launcher for years (on OnePlus, Pixel and Samsung for uniformity across all platforms).

Local Send app is also great. I use it daily to shuttle things between my Android phone and Mac's.

I always CMA. If Samsung ever denied my trade-in, I'd be on them like an angry wasp... and massively dispute the credit card charge. It would also be my last Samsung mobile phone purchase, as well. My return had been showing awaiting receipt for days (or something to that effect). Today...

I too like OP's design strategy, quality hardware, OxygenOS implementation and launcher. Last one I had was OP 8T. Went to town on it removing all sorts of garbage via CLI with adb. Unsure how much has changed post-Oppo in terms of the same, better or worse in that regard. Lingering security...

I haven't had any problems with past returns. I always take photos of: Phone powered on and off Condition of the back of the phone (I ship them back in a nondescript box that gets sealed with gum tape) Weight my digital scale displays of the return box and shipping contents open and sealed...

No overheating here (or with past mobile phones). Not a gamer, don't root, side load or install BS sketch apps... ever.

I like the new Ultra form factor and went bigger... Never could bring mysellf to pony up for one of the hard to hold chonky / front pocket pointy predecessors. Trade-in on S24+ was decent, along with associated accessory incentives, bitching at Samsung via chat to get the $50 pre-register...

Extraneous garbage still lurks (to a somewhat lesser extent, on unlocked MVNO devices). Carrier-specific debloating cleanup is easily accomplished on all of them these days...
