I got a killer deal on an S23+, parlayed that into pre-order S24+ and then pre-order S25 Ultra (with "free" 512 GB upgrade). Just could not deal with S24 Ultra corners :( The S25 Ultra has been a great device since I got my hands on it in January. Put it in a Spigen credit card slider case...

I have not. Bought my S25u during pre-order with an Amex card that has replacement insurance. If that were not the case, I would go to UbreakIfix, sign up for Asurion and have them fix it for ~$200 out of pocket plus a 1-month subscription fee before cancelling.

After using Octopi for a few days, one thing that I'm missing from Nova: I use O365 apps for the day job on my S25u. With Nova, those apps existed in a separate Work folder from the main/personal apps and there is also a button to Turn off work apps. As a work around: I located Work Apps...

So far Octopi is working nicely with a few minor icon spacing and scaling adjustments. I really like the swipe up for apps and alphabetical tap-list to relocate to specific app name 1st letter. I'm not missing much of anything from Nova.

I had excellent success with OP 8T on T-Mobile (US Mobile GSM MVNO network). Still works great in both US coasts, with my S25u now too.

Same for me other than I don't mind how macOS works (especially the Unix command line). I've used Mac's at home since ~2000. Other thing I do is sync my MP3, CD music and (few Apple Music purchases) from a 2011 Mac Mini's iTunes library to the Sonos app running on it. Make it easy to stream on...

On my S25u. Even with music and all the other stuff, free space is 360 GB of 512 GB total storage.
