I had a similar issue with my sg3. It wouldnt charge when turned on while on the charger. and it was dying wayyy to fast. so for the dying part, I bought a 4500mAh extended battery. FIX AND A HALF! and for the charging issue. i tried using a different cable... same charger...different...
