I have to agree with OP. This is easily the best phone I've ever owned. Treo > Droid 1 > Droid 3 (Returned and got Bionic instead) > Galaxy Nexus > Note 2. The only phone I see possibly replacing this Note 2 is the Note 3. I can't go smaller screen after having this phone.

Is this possible through either an app or altering of files? I have a Bionic and a Note 2 I wanted to do this with.

I use a widget called, "Portable Wi-Fi hotspot Widget". Just search that in the app store and then you add this to your home screen as a widget. I've been using on the last two phones including this one and never had a problem. No need to root either.

I bought the Samsung universal car mount and it works perfect with the Note II. It will even hold the phone with the Verizon kickstand case on. Here is a picture. The mount holds the phone very sturdy and you can also adjust this mounts swivel tension. No need to bolt anything. ;)

Originally it was showing a shipping date of the 29th. Then that changed to no status at all a day or two later. Now it's showing the 16th, not sure whats going on.

I was just able to order it! Got my confirmation email and everything. The total came out to $ 373.60. This includes the kickstand case and 2gb data plan. Edit: It's funny. You need to use that link that the OP posted. If you go in the normal way I couldn't find the Note 2 listed anywhere.

Count me in, I need this to combat all the Apple stuff my roommate has in this place!
