Batteries are dumb. They do not adjust. When they are new they slightly gain in capacity and then they will slowly lose capacity as they are used/aged. Apparent battery performance is going to be affected by what is going on on your phone. Awake vs asleep, lot of cpu usage vs little usage...

I've had noticeably worse reception after updating to ICS. In my basement 3G goes in and out all of the time (never a problem before), call quality is noticeably worse, and my signal strength no longer goes green (on the battery usage screen) when driving to work. Anyone else seeing this? Is...

Turns out it was my No Lock app. It worked great pre-ICS, but not with ICS. Anyone know of a similar app that works under ICS? "No Lock Screen" as the same problem as "No Lock", so I'm still looking for alternatives.

No, this is with my phone unlocked. Example: unlocked, screen on, browsing facebook new email arrives I select the new email notification get the "ring" lock screen then the screen where I enter my unlock code then it takes me to me new email. This should not happen.

Since updating to ICS, when I select a notification (new email, etc), it takes me to the initial lockscreen where I have to pull up the ring, then I have to enter my unlock code on the next screen then then finally, it takes me to my email (or whatever the notification was about). Anyone know...

Mine was a little funky. Whenever I selected "Check new", it never gave me a dialog box saying it was checking. But after a while a window with the update info and update accept/defer buttons would pop up. This happened for both the 7mb "prepare" update and the full update. In both cases...

Just wanted to post a "thank you" for this thread. I had heard some people had bootlooping problems at times, but I hadn't until now... I was just swapping batteries and it started looping when I turned it back on. For some reason it had switched to "WCDMA Preferred".

I'm in a rural area where my phone likes to stay in 1X but I have seen it connect to 3G. The 3G speeds weren't great, but they were still four times faster than the 1X speeds. Is there a way to force my Rezound to only connect to 3G?

I can't recall changing any settings lately. Besides, that screen timeout setting has nothing to do with the phone not going to sleep when the screen is off.

Which settings? Stock running original ROM (not updated) No. I'm not going to wipe everything out for 12 or whatever more hours of battery life. It looks like it might be HtcDm keeping the phone awake, but it restarts if I kill it.
