It seems like i'm in the minority, but the only time I've ever dropped calls is when I'm somewhere I barely have enough signal to text message.

I have no problems in NYC (Original Atrix). My gf has some reception issues though (iPhone 4), though the issues are in different places. When we had Verizon, she had problems in her office, but full signal with the iPhone. Weird.

I used the retain root method and it worked great.

Mine creaks just the same as a laptop would if you picked it up by not supporting the whole thing.

Actually so far, even on minimum volume, I find the speakers can be too loud when holding the device and watching videos.
