Flashing the CM 7.2 boot.img worked! The white HTC screen is no longer permanent! Seems there is some sort of kernel issue that flashing the appropriate boot.img resolves! I'm thrilled! Thanks!

I have the exact same problem. Every rom I've tried has given me the endless white HTC screen, with the exception of the Stock ROMs from here. Those will boot ... however, my WiFi is bricked ("Error") on them. I've tried everything to try and get back to stock, and that doesn't seem to be...
