    can i manually install official ICS onto an international note ?

    i'm planning to get the N7000 version of the note. but i will not be getting carrier service. i will basically be using it as a wifi tablet. since i wont be getting ICS via a carrier, would there be a way to manually download and install the official samsung touchwiz version of ICS when it comes...

    do you have to remove the battery to remove the sd card?

    i'm planning to get the gsm version of the galaxy note with the home button (N7000) i saw a comparison of the N7000 and the AT&T I717 version . the inside looked different. so i was wondering, do you have to take out the battery to remove the sd card on the N7000? thanks :)
