It was that way for me too. Just use the "No-frills CPU control" app that's built into BB to change your overclocking back down somewhat. I found that 480-729 was stable for me, but you might want to try the stock 480-600 settings for a few days just to confirm that it fixes your problem.

From the VM FAQ on the new pricing ... ----- Q: What happens if I’m on an “old” Beyond Talk plan that isn’t included in the new price structure? A: As of July 20th, 2011, existing Virgin Mobile customers will be grandfathered into the $25, $40 and $60 Beyond Talk plans. Grandfathered customers...

Virgin Mobile bids farewell to unlimited too.

There's a VM FAQ at ... http://virginmobileusa.marketwire.com/easyir/ceom.do?easyirid=F4ABAEBA3A27ECD9&pagesec=vm_price It explains that existing customers will keep grandfathered rates and can keep them even if they upgrade their phones. The throttling applies to all Beyond Talk customers...

Virgin Mobile bids farewell to unlimited too.

You're being an informed consumer and looking at your options ... that's good. If the new rates and plan changes don't fit your needs, then you're free to move. You've been extremely helpful here, you have my personal thanks, and it would be a pity if you weren't here to help, but at the end of...

Virgin Mobile bids farewell to unlimited too.

Seems to me like they were quite smart. They got a lot of new customers, and then found that some of those customers were using a lot more of their resources (data transfer/bandwidth) than they had expected. They're changing the rules so that they can continue to make a profit on the service...

Do you know that BumbleBee is overclocked from the original factory 600MHz to 768MHz by default? I was getting the occasional crash and strange behavior with the default settings. After I did a clean reinstall using the non-overclocked kernel I found that I could only overclock up to 729MHz on...

I got an email about my data usage.

Sorry for the sidetrack and following rant, but I can't let that statement pass unchallenged :-) As a European living in the US I've got to say that I don't understand how you come to that conclusion. In my understanding it's the European governments' regulation of the markets that led to...

I Have Been Trying Sooo Hard.....LG Optimus V..BRICKED!!

I just wanted to thank you for being a responsible guy and digging yourself back out of the mess that you'd got yourself in, rather than just being an ass and trying to return the phone to the store. You broke it, then you fixed it ... congratulations! :)

Just wanted to send a quick thanks to obijohn for such an excellent ROM. :) Only been using it since 2.3, but it's got a lot of little important tweaks over the stock ROM that I was using before. I also want to add a note that the non-overclocked kernel is really useful ... I've been having a...
