That would be great. I really liked the phone as well but for me Wi-Fi calling isn't a nice to have, it is a must where I live.

The carrier I use allows Wi-Fi calling from unlocked phones including the HTC 10 and U11. Posts elsewhere indicate it works with the OnePlus 6 as well even though that is a phone they neither sell or officially support. On your U12 are the Wi-Fi calling options not present or present but greyed...

Mine is going back. HTC support have said that Wi-Fi calling should be in the phone settings and if the settings to switch it on are not there the unit must be faulty. I think that's nonsense and a software update would probably fix it but I'm almost at the end of the 14 day period where I can...

I'd love to tell you but in the week I've had it, it has spent almost all the time in its box because without Wi-Fi calling working it is no use to me and will be getting returned. In the little I've played with it, the buttons are nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews make out, it looks...

Yes I do but the carrier's own website says that wifi calling is supported on the HTC 10 regardless of where it was purchased. Same with the U11 my partner has and her's isn't a carrier version but wifi calling works just fine on her's.

I'd perhaps be tempted to agree if there at least were some settings in the phone to enable the features even if they were greyed out. In my case I have wifi calling working in my HTC 10, my partner has it working on the same network on her U11 but the U12+ has nothing in the settings related to...

No idea but I called HTC again to chase up seeing as my promised callback on Friday never materialised. The agent said that they have had a lot of calls about non-functioning wifi calling and that the issue had been escalated. She couldn't however give any indication as to when any fix or update...

They did, but you didn't have to get the phone from EE for the wifi calling to work

That's what they want you to believe and it is still what some of their customer services agents will tell you but there's a bunch of phones that will work with wifi calling regardless of where they were purchased. That list of phones includes the HTC 10 and U11 so why the 12 doesn't work is a...

Wow that looks different to mine. This is what I get on the Call menu Then on the SIM1 menu Is the version on sale in the US a dual SIM model? I thought they were the same everywhere.

Where are the options to switch on wifi calling? Are they in Settings -> Call or in the SIM options? When wifi calling is active does the icon show permanently in the notification bar the same way it does with the HTC 10 and U11? I've had a look through the online manual for the phone and it...

Wifi calling on EE doesn't need any sort of app which makes it all the more surprising that it doesn't just work out of the box the way it does with the HTC 10 and U11.

Same here, can't see any options in phone or SIM settings to enable wifi calling. I spoke to HTC about this on Thursday and they said they would call back yesterday (Friday) but nothing.
