Is the red trim dark "red", or slightly pinkish?

I posted, and I have it on my phone with a turquoise back.

Is the red trim dark "red", or slightly pinkish?

Depends on the lighting. In bright light, it can look more on the lighter side of red (sort of dark pink). In darker lighting, it looks very red.

    Official area for screen complaints

How convenient. "Not going to attempt to cite sources"? So you have no proof to backup your claim, making your point moot & useless. You have no evidence that's not complete speculation. Also, what reviews have you been reading? What reliable sources have addressed this in a review besides your...

Virgin Mobile bids farewell to unlimited too.

Better phones. Not a customer of VM yet, but I plan on buying the Triumph upon release. Don't really eat up data and I'm near wi-fi 99% of the time.

Virgin Mobile bids farewell to unlimited too.

This right here. 2.5 GB is plenty for a smartphone. Anyway, people can go past 2.5 GB, just be ready to face the slowdown. NBD for 97% of us.

Virgin Mobile bids farewell to unlimited too.

I'm sure there are apps available. Sucks to be the guy who posted a thread here who used something in the area of 17 GB. No longer. ;)

    New Google Market

I love the re-design! Always been a fan of Metro UI and this brings the simple, fun colors and easily scrollable menus that made me drool over WP7 when I first saw it. Good choice, Google!

    New Virgin phone, Motorola Triumph | JULY19 | $300

Meh. That's rather off-putting to hear. Can the bootloader be unlocked? Hopefully, if not, Motorola will pull through on its promise to let off the locking. Then again, I mean, why would they lock the Triumph? It's a prepaid phone on Virgin Mobile for goodness sake. I can maybe understand the...

    New Virgin phone, Motorola Triumph | JULY19 | $300

I know Motorola's not generally good with having unlocked bootloaders on their phones (though I've heard that they plan to change this gradually), but I've never really understood the implications of this. I assume it has some effect on the ease of rooting or something? Could someone please...

Question about service from phone to phone

Hi, all. So I'm interested in switching up my service over to VM. Currently, I'm on AT&T's prepaid service using one of their GoPhone messaging phones. My current phone is as dumb can be. I thought I'd be stuck with this curse due to a lack of real options until I discovered VM and it's...

    New Virgin phone, Motorola Triumph | JULY19 | $300

Well, I've seen enough reviews of the Black to know that it simply isn't what I want, especially not when compared to the Triumph. I prefer the Triumph's form factor and its specs over the Black, which is admittedly comparable; however, it's not so enough to convince me that it's worth waiting for.

    New Virgin phone, Motorola Triumph | JULY19 | $300

Sound advice; I may be inclined to follow it. This'll be my first smartphone and my first personal, extensive experience with Android OS, too. On further consideration, I suppose I'll be fine with the V for a starter. I'll wait until the verdict is in on the Black (which I'm not expecting great...
