    Just for the sake of curiosity try it with the Intel graphics and see if it's better or worse. Far stranger things have happened when graphics drivers are involved. *EDIT* Oops, Already tried I see. Where's the darn post delete button. Lol.

    The Chromecasts will have unique names on the network, and you can rename them at will. But yes, if somebody does choose the wrong one to cast to it will play in the wrong room, so name them clearly and wisely. :D

    Connecting Chromecast to an A/V receiver

    I know this isn't exactly what you guys had in mind, but I was able to run my Chromecast audio only. I have a cheap HDMI 2ch audio extractor which I use to add audio to HDMI monitors (not TVs). I plugged the CC in to a USB port on my laptop for power and plugged the HDMI end into the audio...
