I believe its because HTC is GARBAGE! I had an Evo 4g until the charging port broke off the board at no fault of mine. I treat my expensive phones like gold. After pulling teeth to get a replacement without paying the $200 deductible, I got an Evo 3D. It does the exact same crap as your phone...
