Obviously either Samsung/Google/Android or Logitech did not strictly comply with the bluetooth spec at some point. It could be that with Kit-kat did not follow the spec and also llowed acessories to take advantage of that somehow. Then any bluetooth accessory that took advantage of it stopped...

Same problem here with my Logitech PRO Keyboard case. If this is something that 3rd parties need to fix with firmware updates, how is it that we are supposed to install the firmware? Will Logitech for instance need to write a program and get it up onto google play store just to do a one time...
