Have done this - seems to have absolutely no impact on the screen blackout I, and others, are experiencing. There are a couple of apps that this does not happen on - Message and camera/gallery, but it seems to happen every where else. The blackout time is 5 seconds or less.

Just something I was not aware of and was just 'exposed' to with the loss of a 256 GB SD card and all data from it. Started with some photo's being fully or partially greyed out. Then I could not access the Gallery more than once as all Gallery and Album content was grey and not accessible...

You have to be Signed into the phone before Explorer will recognize any of the content

I have some 2,400+ songs on my SD card. Visually scanning the list I see many duplicates - mostly from 'Best Of" albums along with the original. The Help and other documentation refers to an icon that is suppose to let you go from single view to duplicates view. I do not find a Duplicates...
