if your on ICS wait for the fl27 upgrade. i read everyone should get it by the beginning of november.

los angeles. it was definately a software issue because when i flashed back to GB i was back to normal speeds. upgraded to fl27 this morning though and they seemed to have fixed the problem. my 4g speeds are back to normal.

yes big difference. signal strength is way better. my gps locked in about a minute which is awesome considering it took 15 minutes with gingerbread and the best thing is they fixed the internet speed problem. with gingerbread i got 5-10Mbps downloads. I flashed about 8 different modems with ICS...

With gingerbread (EL29)and the stock modem (i forget which one it was) i was getting 10Mbps 4G speeds. I decided to give ICS a second chance and everything is working pretty smoothly so far. The last problem i'm having with it is my internet speeds. I have flashed half a dozen different modems...

i had issues with 3g and 4g. i didn't loose it completely but the connection was very poor. data speeds were very slow. i did get disconnected more than usual.

mind if i ask how you did this or do you have a link by any chance? i really liked ICS but couldn't use it because of poor reception and internet. i briefly remember seeing something about flashing the modem but couldn't find anything usefull. did you use ODIN to do this?

i tried this last night and it didn't work. terminal emulator worked but in his guide he says after that to accept the ics download. i did this....it froze about 1/3rd the way through, i rebooted but it didn't kick me back to the screen to clear the cache. i even tried rebooting holding volume...
