    calendar app displaying wrong day on icon and widget

    I have a LG L4. I have this exact issue. However, the calendar app in the list of apps also shows the same date. Therefore placing the icon back on your desktop does not fix it, for me. Restarting the phone fixed it, but hope it's not a temporary fix.
