    Sorry, simple restart fixed it. There is no hotspot button on the notification panel though which is weird. Maybe because of Tmobile? I can still access it through my apps though which is fine.

    My mobile hotspot icon has no image. I just noticed this yesterday after I used my phone as a hotspot but I went through the settings menu. I don't even remember there being an icon in the apps. I can't remove it and when I go into info it says the name is "Settings: and the icon is a gear.
