The biggest drawback to the DNA, for me, is the maker. As a Thunderbolt owner I have nothing but animosity for HTC. I feel as though I was treated badly by the company. That being said, even if I try and overlook that, having a non-replaceable battery (hello TBolt battery issues) and no microSD...
I did not get the other GB and my phone is stock. I looked at my phone this morning and something was downloading. So, I swiped the task bar and clicked on the download. A box comes up saying it's an update from Verizon. Great! Been waiting for that! Then I tap the back arrow to do what I was...
is your auto sync stuck? also, are you in a fringe 4G area? If the first, try disabling auto sync and see if battery life improves. If the second, try forcing cdma only and see if it improves.
I am in the battery life is better camp too with this update. As I stated in other threads, I am getting 15+ hours and still have 50% battery. That is on the stock battery.
so, except for a weird slowdown on sms that is now cleared up the update seems fine with me. The battery is fantastic right now. 15+ hours to 50% stock battery.
The radio locked up once but no big deal unless it continues... So far I am happy
Yes, shut down, pull the battery, wait 2 minutes, put it back in and boot up.
That should help. I got the update as soon as it was offered and I am getting great battery life. I went from full charge to 50% after 15 hours on stock battery.
had an issue with sms. the phone slowed waaaaaay down while typing a msg. I would type a word then have to wait for it to type then type the next one etc...
Very strange
I am running the patriot class 10 8gb myself and it is working great. I think the one folks had a problem with was the 16gb card.
Anyway, try winimage if you are having a problem imaging.
