Not sure, but when i make ringtones for my phone i use a problem called Acid Pro (downloaded from Limewire for the excellent price of FREEEEEE). Open the song in it, drag the bars to where you want the ringtone to start and end, convert it and send it to your phone. Great program and works good...

Maybe im not understanding your questions properly, as i am drunk and have been for lets seeeeeee about 6 hours now (hah), but just go to Settings > Wireless Controls > Wi-Fi (Turn on Wi-Fi). Turn that on and then just below it, click Wi-Fi settings and find the network.

I wish i had an answer for you...i havent had a single bluetooth problem with my hero yet. I have a bluetooth headset, bluetooth car kit, and bluetooth mac laptop that i connect it to. I also downloaded the app that turns bluetooth on and off with just 1 click from the android market.

The Hero doesn't have a proximity sensor like the Pre does. Just so you know too, ive had the pre since BB reward zone release and i havent hit a single button yet when i was in a call and i always rest the phone on my shoulder when i talk on it

When i had my Zagg on my pre, it turned the decent looking pre into looking about 4 years old, not to mention that you couldnt use the touchscreen well because your fingers didnt slide good on the sticky material. I definetly dont reccomend it to anyone for anything.

Just remember that they release OS updates for the phone, just give it some time to shine before you just give up completely on it.

When holding the phone in portrait and typing or responding to a text message, turn the phone to landscape and THEN press "Tap to compose". If you tap "tap to compose" then turn the phone it will take much longer for the keyboard to display. Just a small thing i found helpful :)

The phone has been absolutely great for me so far. I really put my phones to the test the first few days i receive them to study how they react in certain situations. The Hero is very will designed and the Android operating system is great. The phone stopped receiving text messages at one point...

As far as the screen protecter goes, i just bought a pack of those universal ones for $7.99 at best buy and cut it to fit the Hero, it works, looks, and feels great...nice cheap fix, i actually put it on before i even touched the phone..right out of the box. I just ordered a smoke colored...
