Have you tried another texting app? I use 3rd party keyboards and texting apps as well and have never had this issue on my verizon g2. I think Textra is playing the blame game since it doesn't happen with other apps. I used to use Textra as my main texting app but I started running into issues...

Same thing happens to me. It discharges somewhat normally until about 90-95% and then it just drops like a rock from there. Usually at about 60% by lunchtime and dead by 5-6 pm. I used to have 30-40% left by the end of the day around 10 pm. I don't think it is lollipop itself as I ran a custom...
