I'm getting that '+' in the notification bar now, too. Ads to meet Singles or lottery winner, etc. I never had that on my Fascinate. After reading the suggestion to get Addons Detector, I tapped the Play Store icon and my screen went dark! I had to reset power in order to access the Store.

Having trouble finding up to date step-by-step instructions for rooting my Fascinate (2.3.5/EH03) using a Mac computer. Newer than 4/7/11, that is. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Steve, I read through the rooting posts. Are there updated instructions using a Mac OS X (Lion) for rooting with Superclean & a custom Kernel on a phone with the Gingerbread update? The instructional posts here show an update as of 4/07 using CWM still with Froyo.

This is something I hadn't seen until the EH03 update. If I leave my Fascinate plugged in to charge overnight it will indicate 100% in the morning, which I expect. But, as soon as I unplug the charger it drops to 80% at the most. Sometimes it will show the battery level is at 68%. This...

I may be wrong (a very good possibility), but isn't Gorilla Glass rated for it's hardness (resistance to being scratched) and not because it's shatterproof? A very hard substance can still be brittle. Like ceramic, for example.
