No, there are no options. The Kyocera logo appears then it starts normally.

Thank you..I did not have it powered down. I did that now 3 times and it just starts the phone normally. I did get a message that says "No SIM Card found - searching for service," but then it disappears and starts normally. There is no Recovery Mode screen.

I followed the instructions but it just took a screenshot and asked if it should save, delete, etc. The Kyocera logo didn't come up. I shut down and restarted 3 times and still only get the screenshot. The panel is still grayed out. I noted that the Recovery Mode instructions are for Android...

Will this delete everything on my phone?

Yes the Verizon site is specifically for my phone. Before the update, I would press the power button and a panel with 3 functions come up. It still comes up but is shaded dark. There is supposed to be 4 functions after the update -- the 4th is Lockdown. <img...
