My fingerprint is working fine. Pro tip: For the second fingerprint, rescan the same finger with the case on the phone.

How are you finding Bixby when it does work? Aside from a few phone controls, why is it any better than "OK Google" ?

It never works - on any phone. All it does is make you think you're having a stroke or something is wrong with the power. I just adjust it manually.

I use a lot of apps that need location. Like the car sharing app, transit app, and obviously maps. Most other location apps I use less frequently, like Yelp.

I won't use "free" things like clocks that aren't absolutely necessary and the store makes it impossible to search for a paid one.

Maybe the sim card defaults it to your carrier's screen?

FYI-I'm having the same issue. Apologies, I didn't see your post because I searched on "pull-down" instead of "drop-down". I've not found a way to get around it. Clearing all the notifications seems to help a little. The longer the notification list the worse it is. I turned most of them off.

I knew that update had something to do with it. All these apps that keep turning my location on and leaving it on.

I'm having an issue with the pull-down settings menu. When I try to turn the location on and off I pull down the status bar and a scroll right ('push left'). And the menu snaps closed before I can tap any of the icons on the second screen. Thoughts? It's very annoying and can take multiple tries.

Get a case for it (any case with an external button) and remove the button from the case.
