I ended up using House of Bionic to apply the update. After some trouble shooting on my end (read: I'm dumb and impatient) I got it to work 100%. I highly recommend getting the .246 update this way. It's essentially fool proof if you read the instructions.

So I pulled the update last night (twice) and it failed about 20 seconds into the installation with the "!" in the triangle...I've defrosted everything and updated all of the apps, including the VZ ones. I am rooted; do I need to unroot? Or should I do a factory reset? Suggestions or help...

One of these would be fantastic to win!
