Why is flashing my stock ROM using Odin failing?

CM12.1 is Android 5.1.1, but there is no 5.1.1 stock firmware for the Sprint GS4, as the last official update we got was 5.0.1, so if there was a 5.1.1 for GS4 it wouldn't be stock, right? Personally, I'm completely satisfied with CM12.1 on my Sprint GS4, but I'm still curious about OP's...

    newly rooted, so many questions...

GS4, 5.0.1. On Sprint (SPH-L720) The rooting itself was easy, just let KingRoot do it's thing, and after several tries, spaced over the course of maybe a month, yesterday I successfully gained the keys to the kingdom. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring a map. So I immediately uninstalled a...

    Sprint S4 - SPH-720 Lollipop

I have the SPH-L720 and I got the 5.0.1 lollipop update a week ago (June 5th). The battery life does seem worse, though it was pretty bad to begin with, esp. since I'm used to the LGG2. Otherwise, I'm happy with the update. Mostly I just prefer Samsung's take on material design to the bubbly...

    Sprint LGG2 reboots randomly

Well, factory reset didn't really help me, except since I backed everything up beforehand, now if the phone bricks itself I'll be ok! Maybe you could also try booting into safe mode, couldn't hurt. ~ LGG2

    Sprint LGG2 reboots randomly

Hi, thanks, AC app doesn't notify for replies so I'm late. I did boot into safe mode, and browsed chrome for a while with no problems. Maybe I'll figure out a way to last a whole day on safe mode and see what happens. However, wouldn't the state the phone is in after a factory reset be the...

    Sprint LGG2 reboots randomly

This has been happening for around a month now, and my phone is less than a year old. I'm also getting a lot more "unfortunately, ___ has stopped" than before. I just factory reset it yesterday, but it's already happened a couple times after the reset. I don't really know my next step, since...

How can I disable popup messages that I get on my phone when I use the navigation?

Re: Message popup on Google Navigation ("improve accuracy with WIFI") I get that same message all the time on my Sprint LGG2. I've always wondered why navigation would have any use for Wi-Fi if I'm in a fast moving vehicle. It's quite annoying, but I've never looked into it, so I really hope...

G2 less than a month old, just had to factory reset. I think 3rd party launchers may have been the c

I think I may have tried to copy /sys or /system apps to another folder. I wish I could remember more specifically. Next time I'll be more careful. I'm already obsessively backing everything up just in case. Do you think ES would really let me alter something essential without root access?

G2 less than a month old, just had to factory reset. I think 3rd party launchers may have been the c

Here are more details: I had been using the Battery Doctor app by the Clean Master dev, and had set up a power saving mode to turn on at 12 midnight until the morning while I sleep. It was probably 12:30 when I turned off my phone that night, so the screen brightness had already turned itself...

G2 less than a month old, just had to factory reset. I think 3rd party launchers may have been the c

Yesterday I was playing around with Nova and ADW launchers, and customizing icons. I decided to turn my phone off while I slept, but when I woke up and turned it back on, it got stuck on the lock screen after the boot animation. Rebooted a zillion times: nothing. So I took it to Best Buy, but...

    Weird icon in messeges

You can uninstall Text Link! I could, anyway. No need to turn it off, just uninstall it. Posted via Android Central App

Upgrade Android Version 2.3.3 to 4.0 or higher on lg optimus s

Hi there, hope you don't mind an off-topic question : how did you manage to root your LG optimus S, assuming it's ZVJ? Did you downgrade or upgrade first? I am using an un-rooted optimus S and running into many limitations, and supposedly ZVJ is impossible to root. If you did root ZVJ...
