So far so good. Been on holidays in Mexico the last 5 days (+30C /86F ) everyday. Phone is working perfectly. I left processes at default and screen brightness on auto. I'll keep you updated. Here's to hoping!!

Ok, I figured I had nothing to loose so I baked my board too. 9 minutes at 325F. I also cut and folded up aluminum foil to fill the gap between the processor and aluminum chassis. I then applied thermal paste to the processor and aluminum chassis and "sandwiched" the aluminum foil in between...

Another thing to add, I have the HDMI to micro usb cable plugged into my phone.....even thought the screen is black. it continues to work via HDMI on the tv. Now it doesn't seem like a software issue again. Ughh
