    HTC One T-Mobile Soft-Bricked (Can't Fix)

My first bit of advice is that you should go to XDA-developers.com and seek help there. They are excellent at all things Android and they have a help needed area on their website.

Arstechnica says the Moto X is the best overall Android phone of 2013

But the HTC One sold at a much faster pace and many, many more units than the MotoX's 500,000. Plus the critical acclaim, plus being voted best phone by several websites for extended periods. Remember, we're taking flagships, not overall corporate earnings. The MotoX is about as mediocre as...

Arstechnica says the Moto X is the best overall Android phone of 2013

One of my female friends got a MotoX because it had pretty colors, and I thought it was a good, but nowhere near great, device. I like the voice activation feature and the lockscreen reminded me of my old Nokia N9 low power screen. But there has to be a reality check as to how unimpressive it...

    MotoMaker AT&T exclusive till November

Let's hope Google has learned from earlier lessons, especially a bit more about demand forecasting! But I was really writing about my own beloved enthusiast segment, who would be obsessively attracted to the Nexus 5 if it delivers a crazy cool smartphone offering like I think it might...

    MotoMaker AT&T exclusive till November

I think what's missing from the discussion is what the competitive landscape will look like in November. Not just the excellent phones that have already been announced, but the Nexus 5 will be a huge factor. That, to me, will be the biggest threat to the field, including the MotoX. Frankly...

My Biggest Issue: You can get competitor phones that will blow the Moto X away....for less $$$

Please cite or link the article supporting your position that people can't distinguish a quality difference between 720p and 1080p smartphone displays. I can't find one anywhere. Let's see this proof that common sense, the marketplace, and even other MotoX supporters on this thread openly deny...

I've got the Moto X, you've got questions ? fire away!

So what is the screen on time for the MotoX? Like if you put a movie on loop, how long before a fully charged phone runs to zero charge? I'm worried by your comment that Motorola calculates battery life with various assumptions about "average" use and I want something more objective. Thanks...

My Biggest Issue: You can get competitor phones that will blow the Moto X away....for less $$$

Thank you for listening/asking! The Ubuntu Edge has other features that I value above screen resolution, like the 4gigs of RAM, the sapphire front "glass", the 128 gigs of storage, the dual boot capabilities, the. . . well you get the idea. So, yes I can compromise on display quality like...

My Biggest Issue: You can get competitor phones that will blow the Moto X away....for less $$$

Which five Android phones are you referring to? I hope you're not counting the iPhone... Lol! :) Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4

My Biggest Issue: You can get competitor phones that will blow the Moto X away....for less $$$

I'm not ignoring you; I'm listening to you. Listen, my point is simply that the two top Android handsets both sport 1080p screens, so saying that this spec is somehow lacking from a cost-benefit perspective is nonsense. Remember, phones like the One and GS4 are competing against 720p devices...

My Biggest Issue: You can get competitor phones that will blow the Moto X away....for less $$$

All evidence is to the contrary. The top Android phones are both 1080p devices with the battery sizes we all know about. If what you wrote were true, you'd expect that buyers would avoid these phones in favor of other 720p devices allegedly better on battery. They don't. They buy 1080p by the...

My Biggest Issue: You can get competitor phones that will blow the Moto X away....for less $$$

There is so much support for the MotoX's design choice of lower resolution based on the hope of better battery life that I have to ask: what is going on? Do you really need to permanently compromise your device's display for better battery life? This is mystifying me. I have a mass market...

My Biggest Issue: You can get competitor phones that will blow the Moto X away....for less $$$

I am eager to verify the sound quality, not just the loudness, that the X's rear speaker can produce when compared to the HTC One's capabilities. Remember, I just want the best. The only reason I have an HTC One is because I haven't found a better smartphone yet. The reason I donated/bought...

My Biggest Issue: You can get competitor phones that will blow the Moto X away....for less $$$

Huh? I'm just saying that I have my reservations about the MotoX, too. I said I wasn't passing final judgment on the phone multiple times. Sure, we'll learn more the phone as time goes on. Isn't that inevitable? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Beta

My Biggest Issue: You can get competitor phones that will blow the Moto X away....for less $$$

The references were to earlier posts in this thread. One was of a game load duel with link to video. The other was about a browser test that I didn't see as there was no link. (For the record, I can't find any video on YouTube showing the X outperform current flagships in browsing or benchmarks...
