On the Nexus 4, if anyone is wondering the way to get your mp3s on your phone to be used as a ring tone is simple. Just turn your phone off and then on again, and in the sound/ringtone settings, they should now appear. No need to muck about with creating folders or downloading apps.

Is this the only way to make your own portals? Also does the intel map show portals not yet hacked by anyone?

I agree, map doesn't show for me = game doesn't work. I use a HTC desire Z
