Re: 2 Minor issues re bottom buttons. I set mine at 6 seconds but I noticed that the light disappears when you switch on "power saving". It never did that with the S4 or S3 or Note 3 phones.

Why not go to the player - menu - settings - end. That should close it all even in the notifications panel.
