I have the HTC Thunderbolt and in a realness the battery isnt that bad. You have to take into consideration that the more bells and whistles in a device, the more battery power the device is going to need. Throw a 4.3" screen on top of it and well... you get the jist of it. With my experience...

There is actually a bamf forever 1.0.9 its a small patch about 8mb. You have to have 1.0.8 flashed already though for the patch to work. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk

I would update. 1.0.9 is a lot faster. It says you dont have to do a data wipe or anything but I highly recommend it. I backed up all my apps/data and personal data and reflashed them with a completely clean 1.0.9 and holy crap its nice. No need to overclock either. Thats my 2 cents ;)
