Same keyboard issue. My fingers were a bit big for the pre and I thought landscape-keyboard would be much better but it seems like there's too much distance for ones thumbs to travel for it to be efficient. I've had the shift for almost two weeks now and my opinion hasn't really changed.

Thanks for the link but this procedure doesn't work - the option it points to is greyed out. Even if it did it would have still leave the contacts, sms, dialer apps there. Anyway glad to hear that at least one dev picked up this phone!

Exactly what the last guy said. I'm getting this device on the 6th, switching from Pre as there appears to be no new WebOS devices on the radar for Sprint. Horizontal keyboard is what really does it for me. I will be sad to see my Pre go- WebOS's UI is incredibly elegant and intuitive.
