    My apologies for the LONG delay in responding. Thought I had asked for notifications on replies... It's likely that I'm not using Google's phone app but rather Samsung's. The "About Phone" says Version 10.1.02.27 and Call version 10.1.11.24 But...the phone's contacts are for sure my Google...

    Thank you B. Diddy. Yes indeed, they were group messages and I bet that even though each reply was from just one member of the group, the reply also got sent using MMS. I really appreciate your explaining this for me!

    How to pinpoint app repeatedly making Notification sound?

    Nexus 7 2013, Android 4.4.4 (yes sorry have not updated) Some app is making Notification sound. Have silenced apps that seem to have that option but still happening. If there's a way to finger the guilty party I'd much appreciate instructions. Thanks

    Random NON-mechanical "rattle" sound
