oh yeah, Google was quick to send out the refurbished, an easy process and their willingness to send me replacement units so easily tells me that they are well aware of the issues with the new devices

the 2 new units I had and my wife's brand-new unit all had the phone issues. both of us got refurbished devices and they now work perfectly.

I tried out my blackberry kry2LE and although I never noticed it before, it actually changes the network during phone calls too. So, it's definitely a carrier thing, but the BlackBerry had really good call quality, so then that leads me to believe that this is a Google pixel3xl Valley quality...
