There is a free app from Samsung that transfers contacts, calendars, music and tasks easily from PC to Samsung phone. It works seamlessly with Outlook but also gives you a lot of control to select which calendar or contacts. Link is: Samsung Smart Switch App

@Barry Holroyd: You're welcome. I know exactly how you felt. I was discouraged because there were so many complicated attempts being offered and none of them worked. I should have remembered "Occam's Razor"... the principle that the simplest explanation is often the best.

There is a simple fix for non-connecting Galaxy S6 and Win 10. Go into "Settings"... "Developer Options"... Then change "USB Configuration" from "Charging" to "MTP" (Media Transfer Protocol). It connects immediately. You may have to do this every time you connect but it's quick.

Finally found a fix. Change the DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8 Go to "Settings" Select "Wi-Fi" Press and hold the network you're connected to Select "Modify Network" Select "Show Advanced Options" Change IP settings to "Static" Change DNS1 to 8.8.8.8 Should work just fine. Even faster than before.
