Is it normal if the consumption of ram is 1gb ??

Hello everyone. I have Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and upgraded to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. But I check in setting at Running apps, there is showed 'system' use 1gb of ram. What's wrong with that ?? Any solution to fix this problem ?? I really need help here. :'( Please answer Okay. Sorry for my bad...
