2.1 Roots for OTA.
Alright. I have one of the 2.1 roots. And I've been trying to manually update my Eris. But it always says the Installation fails about 1/4 of the way. Can people who have rooted now get the 2.1 update as well as the people who used the leak?- FauxCaptain

Yeah, but just be careful. Putting too many roms on your phone could brick it, so don't go wild.- FauxCaptain

I'm not sure how good it is, but Real Player SP allows you to download videos from wherever and you can convert them to many different types of forms. And there is an option for the Eris. I checked. But, I'm not sure how well it works.- FauxCaptain

I'm betting that they'll start pushing the Eris update the day or day after they finish pushing the Droid update out.(Hence why he said "in the next couple of weeks")- FauxCaptain

I think he was just saying how compared to all his previous phones the Eris is the best, although he really wants to 2.1 update to come out asap. Just cause he likes the phone doesn't mean he's not excited for the 2.1 release...- FauxCaptain

I was looking at that Evil Eris also. I thought it looked really cool. But I'm wondering if i should try it or not. I already have one of the 2.1 roots so i'm not sure if it'll work. If anyone could help it'd be much appreciated.- FauxCaptain
