I am one of those OCD types that can't stand the notification icons, beeps, or blinks to stuff I don't feel the need to be notified about. So I have gone in to each and every app I have and I've un-checked the box for notifications. This works for a very short time, then I start getting...

Whenever I go into app settings to disable notifications, the next day it is reset and I get notifications again. Why do I have to keep UN checking that box?
