Yes... had the very same situation. Found out that the bedroom electrical outlets had been 'broken'. That is, the top outlet was on a wall switch line for bedside lamp; while the bottom outlet was wired as constant hot. Duh! Make sure your electrical outlet is working correctly. Good luck!
