I'm having the same issue. I tried ROMs for Android 9, 10, 11 and 12 and they all use mobile data even after I disabled it (ArrowOS 9 less frequently). Netguard does not prevent connections. Did you find a solution, op?

I have an Android 10 ROM and have this issue. I wonder if it's something in the custom ROM or is a problem common in Android 10.

Not possible through usb because you need to install drivers

It's a software problem. I installed a 5.1.1 ROM and the random reboot is gone. Also a 6.0.1 ROM called Resurrection Remix gave me no problems. Look them up on the XDA forum
