Experiencing the exact same thing. Standard chrome shortcut and it previously always opened to the google search engine. Extremely aggravating to return to the webpage that I literally just closed for a reason.

sorry I didn't word that too well. When I reopen chrome, it takes me to the previous page that I visited.

This morning my phone's chrome browser keeps opening previous tabs even after the app has been closed. This has never happened before. Is there a setting I can change? I've rebooted in recovery mode and no luck with that.

Re: battery draining on nexus 6 p- gmail? I've determined that it is my exchange specifically that is draining the battery, and i have enabled the calendar, contacts, and mail to sync but no luck.

I've tried a cache clear in reboot twice and it hasn't helped. It doesn't show any system updates available to me.

battery draining on nexus 6 p- gmail? Hello, Recently my battery begin dying very quickly. Light use during the day would have my battery depleted by the end of the work day. Do you have any ideas on settings that may need to be changed? I have cleared the phones cache but have not had any luck.
