Hmm... well anyhow it's making the device pretty unusable, and it wasn't being used anyways so I could give it a shot?

UPDATE: It worked yayyyy! So as for the root- it was done by a file called "superuser." I am not sure if it's removable, but I could try.

Hey thnx it's me :D So, I can't at least get the photos? Forget about the device but just to get those pictures transferred. The physical USB connection is not allowing me to, I'm on Windows 10 and there's no option to open device to view files. So I'm not sure how else, email and bluetooth...
