    SOAK Test

Until there is an unlock or exploit found it is a permanent lock. I have read a few posts on other forums in the last couple days saying that the atrix can be added to the "can't unlock after update" list. Right along side the photon and electrify users who took the update. My MoPho's in the...

    2.3.5 Update-Photon Users Beware

It depends on whether or not someone wants to try to find an exploit. The Electrify users and those who "went down the wrong pudding hole" have not been able to go back for some time now. My MoPho's in the kitchen sink!!

    2.3.5 Update-Photon Users Beware

The OS upgrade to ICS is s heduled to be released in Q3. Chances are tge bootloader will be locked as well. I am basing that thought on the fact that the 2.3.5 update locks it down. There is also the possibility tgat a requirement to that upgrade is being on 2.3.5. If you want to have the...

    photon 4G where is install-recovery.sh

I beg to differ. When I installed RomRacer's CWM (5.0.2.7-photon.zip) I had to rename the file that the OP is asking about. By default when the OS boots it checks the recovery. If it is not correct it reinstalls it. I would say after you install a custom recovery, reboot. If it does not stick...

    SOAK Test

It addressed some issues people were reporting. I know some had problems staying connected to 802.n routers, but I don't know all the other issues. It's a maintenance release (GB) only, not ICS. My MoPho's in the kitchen sink!!

    2.3.5 Update-Photon Users Beware

Yes Moto has released 2.3.5 for the Photon 4G. Using it locks the bootloader and removes the ability to downgrade. Users over at XDA are reporting this. My MoPho's in the kitchen sink!!

    WTH is Verizon up to?

I personally think the restocking fee is bs and abuses by all tye carriers. I mean, if you get a device and in a couple weeks decide you want something else, fine. Charge the fee as it is going to be cleaned up, flashed, and resold. But at the end of your contract or at the upgrade eligibility...

    New To AC

Been doin a little reading today. I have found out that the EVO Design 4G only gets a good rating, one big issue is battery life. So I've done a little research. I may be changing my phone choice to either a Epic 4G touch (Galsxy S II) or the Moto Photon 4G. Both are rootable and have custilom...
