Hey there fellas, Just letting people know that this morning when i turned on my phone it started downloading Lollipop 5.0 for my S5 active on the Telus network. Seems good so far. Get downloading.

Yup. 100% location services. No updates at all. I'm still waiting for lollipop for the active, and my carrier hasn't updated in a long time. No idea why GPS only gets rid of it. But it does.

If I go to "GPS only", the sound goes away.

The phone itself keeps changing my location mode from "power saving" to "high accuracy" too. Weird

I think I found it. When I pull down to my notification panel, and turn off "location", it goes away. So far

I know. It's so frustrating...

Ok. Just entered safe mode. 5 seconds after I wake screen, that same sound! Grrrrr. Take it out of safe mode, 5 sec nods after I enter my code, same sound. 🔫

Haha. When I turned it on. It played 2 different sounds, the one I'm trying to get rid of then the one that is stock on the phone when you enable that screen lock sound. WTF. Lol

Just tried that. Sorry to report, it did not work.

Yeah. Checked that. It is off. The only thing I have checked is haptic feedback. Even when I turn it off it still makes that sound. Posted via the Android Central App

Hey there. Have an active on the telus network, think it's 4.4.2. Last week out of the blue, whenever I put my screen to sleep using the side button, a weird little "blurp" sound chimes in. Then when I wake the screen, enter my code, and putz around for 2-3 seconds, it chimes in again. I have...

It does have that feature. But it is not hiding the apps. My friend has one too, both on Telus Network, both have it missing. It might have been an update, that took it away for all i know.

I do not think that it is possible. There are usually some metal bars by the battery for QI charging that they removed on the active. Probably for some certification for waterproofing or shock proofing the phone is my guess.

Hey there, I have this phone for quite a while now, and I just noticed that my "downloads" app that shows everything i've downloaded is missing. I can't find it anywhere. But when I go into settings, then application manager, then all apps, its in there, and says its running, I can force stop it...

I think its junk because it doesn't do anything. Unless im missing something, it didn't work for me. My G2 was turning in and off all the time. Had to do a factory reset in the phone. It worked, but the restore didn't. I lost everything. It stored on the phone, so when it reset everything back...
