NEXT is a huge ripoff, I know this from experience. You're basically leasing a phone for the same price as it would cost to buy unlocked, but over a extended period of time. But with an unlocked phone you can upgrade whenever you want and keep your old phone too.

The point people here are trying to make is that what's a waste of money to you is a great, necessary device to others. I don't have a Note 4, (I plan to upgrade my iPhone 4 to either a Note 4 or a OnePlus One) but I wouldn't be able to have the high grades I do if I weren't able to take notes...

IIRC, just a special app for various outdoors-type activities (think S Health for stuff you do in the woods) and an extra hardware button that launches said app. I also think you can reprogram that button to launch other things like the camera too.
